The W&LLR photos are recent, covering the 2005 steam festival. WHR pix taken over years covering most of the line - some before re-instatement, some after completion. I have been a member of Welsh Highland Railway Ltd since 1983.

Photos here range from the 'sixties to the present day, covering my membership of the Talyllyn Railway Preservation Society since 1967

I show just a selection from my non-Talyllyn collection, mostly since 2001 but a few Festiniog and Welsh Highland ones are from 1983. I am a member of the Corris Railway Society.

Some beautiful countryside that I found lying about just waiting for me to press the exposure button. One additional ingredient: the lighting was usually just right. You will see the Staffordshire Moorlands and the Sussex Downs brought together for the first time!

Photographs I have taken since my teens, covering the demise of the proud North Staffordshire Railway (NSR). I am now photographing NSR sites in built-up areas. Member of the North Staffordshire Railway Study Group (see link).

I turned to SG on completion of my final narrow-gauge layout (qv). Alongside the mainly 00 (1:76 on 16.5 mm) collection are a few H0 (1:87 on 16.5 mm) items. Most are British outline and most of these are LMS.
